Man Who Fired Shots at Consulate General Shoots Himself in the Mouth
Ciudad del Este, Paraguay. Some sources said he died after arriving at hospital. Until I or someone else can confirm different, I'm putting it here. A man, identified as Cassio M.M., stormed the Brazilian Consulate General, carrying a .357 caliber revolver, and fired several shots from the consulate's entrance. During the attack, a 78-year-old consulate employee was wounded in the arm, seemingly as collateral damage. Cassio subsequently shot himself in the mouth. He was taken to hospital - some sources have reported he has since died. A letter was found on Cassio, addressed to his family: Additionally, in a video he posted on social media last year, he claimed he had arrived in Foz do Iguaçu (next-door from Ciudad del Este) from São Paulo, where he suffered severe violations of his fundamental rights due to corruption in the judicial system. The man ran for a council position in Foz do Iguaçu last year but did not secure enough votes. |

i mean he let the guy get shots off at the consulate and didnt appear to get to the scene until the guy already shot himself, but yeah, he knows his shit.
