That passing car appears to have a bright yellow plate. Only NM has that shade of yellow. There is a bit more green vegetation than expected for NM, but it appears to be a hot weather state, dry and cloudless. I put my betting $ down on NM.
Seems to be I-5 in Washington.

This gives me flashbacks to the night some asshole committed suicde by waking out in front of my car (the day after Xmas 2020.) Difference being that he came through my windshield, covering me in his blood, brain matter, hair and glass. It wasn't awesome.

NY tags are an oranger shade of yellow. NM tags are pure yellow. Regardless, I lost my bet anyway.
