Motherfucker became a physics experiment… It was clearly an elastic collision, but not a perfectly elastic collision in that some energy was lost in deforming his body. The energy his body expended to deforming the semi-truck can be disregarded for obvious reasons. In an about 10 milliseconds, he was accelerated to the speed of the semi. |

If you watch frame by frame from just before impact, there is one shot a couple of frames into it where something meaty looking flies up and then several frames later there's one more. The dent he made in the hood with his face is impressive, too.
