I don't buy it, just looks too staged for me. The fact that he cuts her throat, waits for blood to appear and then just walks off says to me "Hey everyone, look what I just did!". If it was real, you'd expect it to be at least a bit more 'nitty gritty' rather than look like an amateur production.
