Really? The guy was throwing paving stones at the driver and the windscreen was getting to the point where it wasn't going to stop them any more. Being hit in the face with one of those could, potentially, be fatal. The driver was entitled to protect himself by escaping from that situation. The dimwit throwing the paving stones made two main mistakes: (1) Throwing paving stones at the driver, creating the need for the driver to escape; and (2) Standing in the obvious escape path for the vehicle. Serves him right. |
