I did too at first. But I don’t think he’d pass out before bleeding. Usually it’s the massive sudden blood loss that causes loss of consciousness. Unless he managed to somehow swallow the blood first and then had it come out after he fell. This is just weird. Maybe he’s a bleeder? (hemophiliac)

That’s what I’m thinking. Varices ruptured, he swallowed enough blood that he went into hypovolemic shock, passed out, and while he was face down and without a gag reflex, his heart pumped out whatever blood was left. Even worse if he was on thinners or had a clotting disorder, not to mention a fucked liver worsening his coagulation abilities anyway. Crazy shit for sure.

That’s a really confident statement. Edema can be caused by a lot of things, if that’s even what it is. I don’t doubt he had some kind of insulin resistance, though.
