The closeup pics are just confirmation. Where is all the meat in the detail shots? It's all on the edges of the fan, (bypass section) Yet the video has everything coming out the core nozzle. I don't think the video and the detail pics are the same incident. Maybe a video re-enactment of what happened, but all the blood coming out of the core is fake. Are there detail shots of the tailpipe of the engine? If it's dripping blood, I might believe it. But I'm willing to bet the core exhaust is just clean and carbon-colored (normal) on the ingestion aircraft. I don't deny the guy got sucked into a jet engine. It's happened a LOT over the last 50 years. I just don't think THIS video is of THAT particular incident. |
