The Wikipedia article states: "The incident was compared to the filmed suicides of anchorwoman Christine Chubbuck and politician R. Budd Dwyer." How is that even possible when the Chubbuck suicide was a live event in 1974, broadcast a single time by a small market TV station with only a few hundred people who MAY have seen it. The archival tape of the broadcast, which she requested to be made, was seized immediately and has not ever once publicly surfaced. How are people comparing this to something they have never seen? |
