Despite being 14% of the population, blacks account for half of the murder deaths in America. 86% of their deaths are perpetrated by blacks. Even if you somehow got cops to stop killing blacks, you'd barely make a dent in their death rate. In fact, after cities implemented defunding policies due to BLM protests, inner city crime, to include murders, spiked up, probably due to lack of policing. I'm guessing the math will show that more black people died than if the cops had been around. That's the problem with BLM/CRT; this is a multi-factor problem and focusing on just one facet of it (race) leads to no good working solutions.

All that is without taking into account that the overwhelming majority of the people that get shot by cops were armed, or were fighting the cops when they got shot, regardless of race. The media makes it seem otherwise, especially with blacks,, but troll the video sections here and look at the body cam footage. We can feel and think what we want, but the cams don't lie.

I fully agree that we need to overhaul policing procedures, but the media needs to stop framing the problem like the cops are just rolling up on people and killing them while they're eating ice cream and preaching The Word. All that race-baiting for rage clicks is not helpful for the discussion.
