I think the gun guy was WAY too eager to use, like many criminals are… Not saying he was or wasn’t a criminal, but he was already grabbing the gun in his jacket while in a mere verbal confrontation!!! Also, despite leaving the confrontation to order food, he went back to continue the confrontation. After the encounter by the door which caused knife guy to retreat, gun guy followed him to continue shooting… a big no-no legally, for a ‘self-defense’ defense. He turned himself into the aggressor, and therefore, a murderer. Or a ‘man-slaughterer’, as it were… My opinion is that knife guys woman should also be partially responsible for his death because she handed him a knife, thus escalating the confrontation to a deadly one. Probably doesn’t exactly work out with how the law is written, but, for what it’s worth, that’s how I believe it should play out.  |
