Man Slits Wife's Throat at Petrol Station for Refusing to Leave Him
Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (Aurangabad), Maharashtra, India A man murdered his wife while she was at work at a fuel pump on Thursday, a police official said. Satyam Gawande wanted to remarry and asked his wife Pooja Gawande to leave him, which she refused, leading to a quarrel and ultimately resulting in Satyam slitting Pooja's throat. Satyam has been arrested. Pooja's first husband, with whom she had two children, had died. In order to support her children, she married Satyam, her cousin's brother-in-law, around six months ago. The marriage soon soured, and the couple separated, but concerned about her childrens' future, Pooja refused to officially terminate the marriage. |
