I have flashbacks to early gore and deathcam videos I saw where gurgling soldiers are decapitated in close-up or clerks in convenience stores are shot in the face or chest that don't die quickly and they make those hideous, horrendous gurgling, gasping sounds as they slowly expire. I only like to hear that shit when it's a bad guy that deserved a good heart and lungs shot and now spends his last moments trying to breathe through the torrent of blood and the hole blasted through his trachea
For a few years now, I've been watching such without sound as to focus on looking at nonverbal behavior/cues.
