Man Sitting Outside Establishment Shot Multiple Times from Behind by a Hitman
Last Friday Álvaro H.L.J., 56, was in front of a commercial establishment with his daughter and another woman when a man dressed in black approached from the back and fired several shots at him. Following the attack, the attacker fled on a blue boxer motorcycle. The victim received multiple shots to his neck and head, which caused his immediate death. Police confirmed that he did not have a criminal record. His 21-year-old daughter and a nutrition student, was injured with a gunshot in the lower back and was transported in a private vehicle to a Clinic, where she remains in stable condition. According to authorities, the homicide would be related to a alleged settlement of accounts. It was unofficially known that the victim was engaged in lending money and business of vehicles and real estate, which would be the motive for the attack. Following the incident, the Mayor's Office offered up to 20 million pesos for information that allows the arrest of those responsible. There were no prior reports of threats against the victim. |
