Man Shot Dead by Off Duty Cop During Argument
Happened Sunday (March 6) morning in Minas Gerais Video filmed by the victim's wife show her husband armed with a knife arguing with an off duty officer. At the end of the video right before the man was shot, he was no longer carrying a knife. Not sure what they were arguing about.  |

they were neighbours and already had a history of fall outs with eachother. Police couldn't find any witnesses for further info as no one wanted to talk. The off duty cop fled his house and is wanted now. One witness told reporters that he probably shot him when the cop saw a relative of the victim standing some distance behind the victim carrying a firearm. |

I don't blame the cop. He eliminated the threat from the one guy...permanently. Then he was in a better position to protect himself from whichever other threat sources that may have been converging on him. Plus, if there were other bad actors around, they likely made an ultra fast reassessment of their roles in the fiasco in light of their now dead associate's body laying in the street oozing blood.  · |
