Re: ~Man Shoots And Kills Ex-girlfriend~

She was acting like she didn't give a shit about him or his broken heart I would guess.

Which is fine if she doesn't.

Point is she might be alive if she gave him some respect. Or cared about his feelings. Said something like I'm sorry I don't have those feelings for you anymore. I can't control how I feel. I still care about you and you will always be special and a part of my life I'll never forget. blah blah blah.
Clearly she doesn't care about him and in response he doesn't care about her life, which is also fine and just.

And all that shit, as you said, its the same but with kindly words.

What a fucking cunt. Hope he receives a worse death.

Just so I understand the naming rules...are screen shots of names allowed but if we quote a news article we edit out the name?

Yes, as I understand it, it's because a name in an image can't be searched for as easily as the text in a post.

Correct.

Names aren't allowed (unless it's a major news story), so that this site doesn't come up in search results.

Also, just out of respect/privacy, if posting a screenshot of FB comments, I usually cover the names + images of the people commenting.

Re: ~Man Shoots And Kills Ex-girlfriend~

Not that she deserved that. But people these days have no respect or apathy for others today is a problem.

Obviously we don't know the entire situation. But he obviously had feelings for her and was in a bad place.

She was acting like she didn't give a shit about him or his broken heart I would guess.

Which is fine if she doesn't. But at least give another person you at one time at least pretended to care about you attention when they need it.

You can tell right before he pulls out the gun he mentions this. He probably said something about her ignoring him and just playing on her phone like he doesn't exist. Which is why she holds up her phone and puts it down.

Noticed she didn't put it on the counter though, she put it away from him. Which either means she's afraid he'll break it, or she's seeing someone else and hiding it from him. Or both.

Point is she might be alive if she gave him some respect. Or cared about his feelings. Said something like I'm sorry I don't have those feelings for you anymore. I can't control how I feel. I still care about you and you will always be special and a part of my life I'll never forget. blah blah blah.

Honestly I don't know how you could be in a serious relationship with someone if that's not true anyway. But again, people are so consumed with themselves these days. And others are just objects they want to swipe past or click on. People can't make true connections because they're not even connected or experiencing reality.

People live through social media. And believe it's real. When I've read studies that suggest 8 out of 10 social media accounts are misleading in the way that they portray a problem free life. That's more exciting than it really is.
That’s a shitload of assumptions on your part. Maybe she put up with a ton of his shit already and had been patient during the breakup and after. Maybe he took that compassion she showed him as a sign that maybe they could work things out and he persisted after her. Maybe she had had enough of his pestering. Then maybe he showed up to work unexpectedly and unwantedly so she tried a different approach and thought, maybe if I ignore him he’ll get the picture that we are over.

And yes, she did put up the phone after he pulled out the gun. Maybe he was abusive and he had threatened to kill her before. Maybe she thought if I put up the phone and try to calm him down he won’t kill me. Seems more logical than you throwing shit at the wall given what happened next.

Fuck all these maybe or what ifs. What is known is he shot her in cold blood. I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt and you should too.
He was at fault in the situation 100 percent.

You’re busy throwing a dead woman under the bus by speculating on her behavior. You’re basing your assumptions about her and her character, after having seen her on a video with no sound, for a few seconds of her life. You follow that up by getting on your soap box about social media and the world. STFU

I'm certainly no relationship expert, but, I don't think she's going to want to get back together with him now.

Well said. A lot of people can only think one way. Most need to be validated. What you said is open to both sides and very true
