Not that she deserved that. But people these days have no respect or apathy for others today is a problem. Obviously we don't know the entire situation. But he obviously had feelings for her and was in a bad place. She was acting like she didn't give a shit about him or his broken heart I would guess. Which is fine if she doesn't. But at least give another person you at one time at least pretended to care about you attention when they need it. You can tell right before he pulls out the gun he mentions this. He probably said something about her ignoring him and just playing on her phone like he doesn't exist. Which is why she holds up her phone and puts it down. Noticed she didn't put it on the counter though, she put it away from him. Which either means she's afraid he'll break it, or she's seeing someone else and hiding it from him. Or both. Point is she might be alive if she gave him some respect. Or cared about his feelings. Said something like I'm sorry I don't have those feelings for you anymore. I can't control how I feel. I still care about you and you will always be special and a part of my life I'll never forget. blah blah blah. Honestly I don't know how you could be in a serious relationship with someone if that's not true anyway. But again, people are so consumed with themselves these days. And others are just objects they want to swipe past or click on. People can't make true connections because they're not even connected or experiencing reality. People live through social media. And believe it's real. When I've read studies that suggest 8 out of 10 social media accounts are misleading in the way that they portray a problem free life. That's more exciting than it really is. |
