It is not a perfect sphere it is an oblate spheroid... as the earth “solidified” from it’s molten state after the formation of the solar system, the spin of the earth imparted a slight “bulge” at the equator in comparison to a split along the longitude... so it is not a perfect sphere. It’s funny though that flat-earther’s use neil armstrong’s statement that “the earth is not a sphere” as justification that the earth is flat. Oh... and not every picture is a composite. All the pictures from the Apollo are single frame film images from 70mm Hasselblad cameras. |
