Re: Man Mistakenly Shoots His Friend at a Wake

I think the guy firing the shot watched too many movies showing the bullet will fly in a curve if you swing your hand while firing a shot. So he thought that the bullet will fly upwards when he triggle his weapon while swinging his arm upwards will make the bullet curve up into the sky. John Wick? Matrix? Fast & Furious?

It looks like he saw a bird he wanted to kill and pulled the trigger way too soon.

At 0:16s, the shooter says, "You're getting ready to meet that Man right up there."

“When he wielded the gun, a shot escaped him, says a police report.” Apparently the guy with the gun is an innocent victim in all this. Poor fella. The gun must have malfunctioned.

Let me get this gun out of my pocket.
Is that a gun in your pocket, or are you just pleased to see me?

Re: Man Mistakenly Shoots His Friend at a Wake

Literally the reason why people say to keep your finger off the trigger when not ready to shoot and to not flag people with your gun EVER.

Negligence at its purest.
'"

Ask Alec Baldwin that same question. "I didn't have my finger on the trigger."
