I was in the outback with the Aussie Army doing joint military training.. Live fire everywhere.. So yes I have met the Aussies that like guns.. I have no probs with the Aussies, they have always been polite and never had any problems with them on liberty .. Fremantle, Perth, Brisbane, Sydney, and a few more that I have forgotten..
