Man Killed After Falling Piece of Plywood Struck His Head
In Volgograd, Russia, a 50-year-old IT specialist, Y.Z., was killed when, while walking through a park, a piece of plywood fell from a building under construction and struck him on the head. He was rushed to hospital with an open craniocerebral injury, and fractures to the cranial vault and base. He died shortly after admission. Police plan to investigate what they believe was non-compliance with safety rules at the construction site. |
