It mauled him for a good while by the looks of his face and the only thing which helped him were the bars on its pen. Wish I had that strength. Bench press cars and deadlift trucks fo sure. |

This is a much more gruesome attack than it would have been had the man been inside the cage with the tiger having full access to his body. In that situation, the big cat hunter-carnivores are actually quite quick & merciful killers that immediately go for the throat, clamping down with their mighty jaws & cutting off the victim/prey's airway, killing it in seconds. But here the tiger only had access to a limb through the bars so it just ripped it right off, perhaps getting a few swipes in with its paws through the bars, hence the scalping. It was a slow, horrible way to die, and all because of the unnatural captivity thing. A very cool video.
