she did a pretty good job fighting that mad man off. too bad the other lady didn't have the courage to step in, they may have been able to disable him. just 1 swift kick to the crotch is all it takes. then he is open for follow up attacks. |

All women (and men) who have been abused in their relationships need to be given free long term self defense training sessions. Because like most cases world wide, the abuser doesn’t get into real trouble until they seriously injure or kill their partners/others. And even when they do injure people, they can be bailed out and then just kill while on bail.  Poor woman. The other lady should have taken off her covering dress thing and like surprise covered him from behind. But he had a giant knife and when someone is angry af, ready to murder, even if they look weak/small, their rage/anger just gives them power and strength. He probably would have stabbed the other woman too. |

According to some people living on the 8th floor of Kim Thi apartment, Ms. VA is a gentle, happy person who has just moved here for more than a year with her 3 children (1 boy and two girls). Because the couple has divorced, Phan Cong Cuong and her brother have feelings for each other. Sometimes people still see Mr. Cuong coming to VA's room to play and stay for dinner with his family. “For over a month now, I see Mr. Cuong coming to the apartment but only in the lobby, not going to Ms. VA's room as before. Many days, she saw that VA had brought lunch to the lobby for Mr. Cuong to go to work and looked at them very affectionately. About 3 days ago, Mr. Cuong still loitering in the apartment yard but did not see Ms. VA. Mr. Dang Hong Long, Deputy Director in charge of Kim Thi apartment building, said: "After the incident, VA's family involved in the proposal to visit her in the apartment yard and the management agreed. Although the funeral ceremony in the apartment yard is quite inconvenient for other families living here, but literally means death ".
