Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas

That's why you, and many stupid motherfuckers in America shouldn't have guns.

This guy will go to prison. Shit isn't like it used to be, and with it being filmed.

I'm a gun owner, I have several, probably even considered a gun nut to some people. Which is why these dumb motherfuckers piss me off.

Of course this place is full of little dick big mouth rejects, so I don't expect comprehension.

But you don't get to kill someone for not getting off your front lawn, or porch. And, to be a gun owner, you should have enough braincells to understand what's a life and death situation and what is not. And when it's not, and you decide to go get your gun to make it one, you're a fucking dumbass who should go to prison.

This is why he was wrong, and should get life.

The guy isn't threatening him. He's there to get his son, which sounds like the homeowner's may be in violation of a court order. Which may mean, they were commiting a crime.

So, the act of going inside, without the victims harassment or threats, he left the situation. Get a gun, and comes back. To point a gun at someone in a heated argument.

Dumbass. I'm wondering if this is step daddy or new boyfriend. Real winner there ex wife. Shoots and kills what he hopes is his step child's father.

You see how fucking stupid that is? The days of being able to legally shoot someone for standing outside your house are over.

They both were in no fear, you can clearly see that. This bitch was just mad, and he was too big of a pussy to throw hands. So he went and got his penis pump.

You are responsible for what happens when you brandish your gun. If you decide to use your gun as your balls, and as a replacement for your manhood, you're responsible.

People need to get out of their head that you're going to pull a gun and the other person is going to drop to their knees and start giving you head. Or are going to turn around and run.

Nope, most of the time, they are not going to take it well. Which is why you should never pull a weapon unless you intend on using it.

And that's how the jury will see it too.
I’m Canadian. But it seems like if your going on another guys property and he grabs a gun and tells you to leave. What does one do? Lol.....

Don't know how I feel about this TBH, there could be a whole lot of context we are missing. I'll reserve judgement until it goes to trial. Hopefully it'll be televised.
What context is missing? We can see and hear the ENTIRE thing.

If I was a juror I would have a difficult time determining if Chad actually tried to grab the gun or if he just pushed it out of his zone. With the current context available to us it appears Chad wasn't there to hurt anybody and only became angry after Kyle brought a gun out, seeing as how Kyle has a napoleon complex. That bitch wife is fucking evil for sure.

I think the "use that motherfucker or I'll take it and use it" (paraphrasing) comment is enough for most jurors. Even if he wasn't actually grabbing to take it away, I think it's fair to say that if a person rapidly moves their hand toward your firearm after nagging that sort of comment, I'd say you had reason to conclude that the person going for it. And in these cases, burden is usually on the state - meaning they have to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you couldn't have reasonably believed it.

Counter point... if you're not willing to accept that some people play for highstakes, get back in your truck and stop acting like you've got 20 kilos of dick swinging in your pants.

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas

When the guy threatened to disarm him on his own property then proceed to do just that, I would’ve done the same thing, not knowing what he would do if he got the gun.
And that’s why he will walk free.

The shooter handled himself properly.

He didn’t even aim the gun until the second he intended to use it.

Re: Man Fatally Shot During Dispute In Texas

I'm not talking about the foolishness of grabbing the gun, or continuing the confrontation.

I'm talking about the act of going to get the gun.

There was no threat, there was no violence or threats of violence. So why go get the gun? To attempt to make someone do something, in this case leave.

That's not a good enough reason. You don't get to use deadly force, or threaten deadly force in such a situation. In this situation the act of brandishing the weapon is what turned this confrontation into violence.

People shouldn't own guns if they don't understand the responsibility it carries. This is a great example. This guy went and got his gun, not because he was afraid for his safety or anyone's safety. Or to defend his property. Or even as a precaution. He went and got the gun for only 1 reason. He was mad. And he had the attitude, "oh so you're not afraid of me, how about now".

You shouldn't ever go get a gun because you're mad, and you're on your property, therefore you have the right to use deadly force.

And with that, plus the circumstances of the relationship, and the fact his children stay at the residence. Makes it unconscionable to bring out the weapon.

After the weapon is out, sure in most circumstances that's self defense.

But circumstances matter. Just like if you and your buddy break into my home, and I ended up shooting and killing your buddy. You probably would be charged with murder of your buddy. Because your friend died while committing a crime you're responsible for.

This shooter likely committed a crime by going inside and coming back out with the weapon, intending on threatening the victim with it.
