Man Falls To His Death From Apartment Building
Mumbai. A 30-year old man identified as A.T., who tried to save himself from a fire on the 19th floor of the 61 story Avigna Park apartments, fell to his death.

You know, a lot of people like to talk about how Documenting Reality is all about glorifying violence, etc....but I see it more as educational television for adults. If the people who lived in these kinds of buildings saw ALL of the people who fall to their deaths while trying to escape a fire, or who are charred alive because they have bars on their balcony, etc....maybe they would consider buying some rappelling equipment, or a bungee cord, or some kind of rope so that they could lower themselves safely to the ground in an emergency. Maybe they would consider moving someplace that DOESN'T have bars on the balconies  .

The thing that fascinates me is how clueless people are to subjects like this even where I work. People still will make stupid comments like people won’t do that. So when I show them the videos and pics. First response that’s offensive and you shouldn’t do that. Im like why because it’s real and one day you might face same situation and what will you do. If anything that I get from this, is be very f ing aware of your surroundings and be f ing vigilant 24/7. Oh and don’t do stupid shit while drunk and don’t settle arguments with high power or any kind of power weapons. Oh and fuck having little lap dogs and shit them mfers will eat you if you die around them. Plus rest assured if you do any of the above, people will be talking shit about you here in our forums. Just a little something to ponder over.

It wouldn't even have to be that long. Just ONE floor would have saved him. So make the rope ladder 2 floors long, and you would be good.

I couldn’t agree more! Watching things like these is actually very refreshing and does open our eyes to these real life possibilities. People live in their own bubble not knowing any second they could be gone. Ever since BestGores was up and running, I’ve always loved watching these REAL and RAW videos! |

Whatever happened to fire escapes? They have to get those back in fashion where you can put out your potted plants, your cats' litter boxes, lay in a hammock and sing "Moon River", and not have to fucking burn to death or fall when the building starts to go.
