Man is Electrocuted After Trying to Escape from Police Station
Happened earlier today (March 09) From source: A man of 51 years, died electrocuted, on the afternoon of Wednesday, after running away from the 17st police station (Saint Kitts), In the northern area. Trying to escape the police officers, the victim climbed on a pole in front of the police station, on the street Saint Kitts, but ended up taking shocks of 13 volts through the body and couldn't resist. After the event, the route was without power and the light's on site now to fix the equipment. A strip of the street had to be closed and the city guards is helping everyone off the road. Until the time of publication of this report, the body was still on site. Man dies electrocuted after his escape from police station in the northern area. |

Voltage isn't what kills. It's the Current that kills. As little as 50 mA (milli amps) can do the job. Demonstrations showing people with their hands on thousands of volts Tesla coils, and their hair standing straight out on end, are pretty common. |
