Re: ~Man Crushed In Machine~

That is very true, some people are so stupid they're enough safe guards to protect them from themselves

One could see it that way. Or one could see it as a worker and a adult who assumes responsibility of a job. Knows the danger. And just got careless or wasn't focused.

I'm always undecided on this stuff. Because I don't agree with a society always clammering for freedom. While also clammering for all kinds of protections.

Like teenagers arguing with their parents to let them go out and live their lives. And also expecting their parents to wash their clothes snd cook them dinner and pay their car insurance.

Re: ~Man Crushed In Machine~

Hard to tell if it was negligence by the business (unsafe equipment, insufficient safety training if it exists at all) or stupidity by the worker. Often it’s a bit of both.

Re: ~Man Crushed In Machine~

Rescue personnel needed a crash course in metal physical properties or at least basic information about thermal conductivity of iron.

Re: ~Man Crushed In Machine~

It's always a shock to see someone so obviously fatally injured and you think they're dead and then they're obviously not... yet.
