Man Crushed to Death Whilst Unloading Machinery from Truck
Phú Thọ, Vietnam At the Bai Sheng Sports Products Co., Ltd., which specializes in export footwear, a transportation unit arrived to deliver equipment and machinery. During the process of unloading the machinery, it slipped, crushing two people and causing severe injuries. They were rushed to emergency care, but one person did not survive. The other, who suffered a broken arm, was taken to Hanoi for treatment. The Bai Sheng company initially provided five million dong (US$190) to the family of the deceased, and two million (US$76) to the injured worker. The transportation unit company also provided initial support of twenty million dong (US$765) to the family of the deceased. |
