I've seen this without the special effects. The guy swinging the stick is saying over and over "what you get for killing innocent people" so apparently the guy had it coming.

That was police batting him iirc (working for rival cartel). Guy was from gang/cartel which made attack where many young kids died. This piñata actually didn't die. I bet he wished to though. |
