This makes absolutely no sense. You're saying that in an area where marijuana is legal, where people are getting it from legal, regulated sources, that's somehow connected to violence like this? As others in this thread have pointed out, it's the illegality of the substance which is ultimately driving individuals to take advantage of that restriction, to profit from it, which ends in clashes and violence. Do you drink alcohol? Have an occasional beer? Do you realize that people were getting murdered during prohibition, for the procurement and sale of alcohol? Now that it's legal, have you seen many videos of Miller Lite executives beating Heineken executives to death with bats? |
