I was on 180mg a day for over 8 years. Had I known it was more addictive than heroin and the withdrawals one hundred times worse I would've never gotten on methadone. Detox was the worse 2 weeks of hell I ever faced but at least now I'm off everything and was able to keep my extremely good job.
