No the fall definitely killed him. The velocity towards the water... the hit (which you can hear very well) likely destroyed his internal organs from the force. It would have been pretty instant death  |

Interesting. Will the massive internal damage show itself? Because the immediate aftermath, he looks very normal, no visible blood, trauma you can see on his body. But obviously he’s had one hell of a fatal impact.

Kind of like when someone is killed by the concussion of an explosion. They have no visible external wounds but open them up and it looks like all hells broke loose inside.
