Looks real enough for me. He thought it over, hesitated for a half second and then just pulled it out, cocked it and inserted in mouth and blam. Notice his angle of pistol. It seems to be aimed quite a bit lower down so must of got the top of the brain stem. He seemed to just slump rather than some others I have seen where the trajectory was aimed higher up and went through the top of the head. On those I notice the body goes rigid for a second and there is some sort of grunt from the body. So far I have never seen two head shot suicides the same. It depends on so many variables. Angle of trajectory, caliber, and even type of bullet or shell. 12ga shotguns seem to just take off a major portion of the head.
