Around 9:45 am on Friday, April 24 U.C. de C, 39 years old, was shot and killed in Mossoró. The military police were called in with information on firearm shots. At the scene, the police found the victim's body next to a motorcycle. Images of security cameras installed in the buildings recorded the victim being executed by two criminals who were on a motorcycle. The images show that the victim, already shot, crashed the motorcycle into the sidewalk and when he tried to escape on foot he was executed with many shots, mainly in the head region. After killing the victim, one of the criminals took something from his waist. The police believe he was armed and the criminals took his weapon. Several pistol capsules (around 10) were scattered in the middle of the street, next to the body of the victim who did not carry identification documents. The body was removed by the team on duty, where he must undergo necropsy exams. He was later on identified. Almost an hour later another man, 20, sitting on the sidewalk in a different neighbourhood, was also shot and killed with 5 bullets in his head and back region. |
