My ideology of preventing situations that require guns in the first place?

Anecdotal evidence isn't really that great either. But I'm not actually against guns. In USA the horse has definitely bolted. But what I'm concerned with is the lack of attention to causes of situations that require guns in the first place.

Prevention is better than cure as the saying goes. Unless it's USA, then it's $$$ all the way to the bank making bucks out of the snake oil.
