Man on a Bicycle Ran Over by a Truck
This happened on Sept 21th around 8pm in Thailand. A 56 years old man on a bicycle was crushed by a truck and died instantly.  |

That was dumb to cut in front of the truck like that. No, it wasn't moving, but it was clearly about to.

Guess he was never taught to keep at least 15ft away from a truck in traffic. Also the truck needs new tyres as hardly any profile on it.

This my friends is why attention SHOULD be payed while in traffic. Stay in view of other drivers. If they cannot see you, you're likely going to end up like this poor ignorant fella.

It's interesting how in so many of these cases where someone is run over (typically in large trucks) the driver always seems to stop the vehicle with a tire right on top of the victim. I would feel sorry for the guy, but he should have known better than to cross so close to the front of the truck. Must be another case of God keeping the population of idiots down to a reasonable level. |
