It happened in Ahwaz. They are Arabs. Actually she was her sister, who fled to Turkey with her boyfriend. Her family assures her that they will forgive her if she comes back. |

It's hard to wrap my head around that (pun not intended), the entire story really. I understand the tradition is part of their culture, and as such, maybe it shouldn't easily be shrugged off when looking in from the outside, but it's so far from my understanding that I just find the whole thing archaic and fucking disgusting. When I was 12, my biggest concerns included getting some over-the-shirt boob action and avoiding getting scammed in RuneScape, not marriage, and eventually fleeing the country just to avoid my lunatic pedo baby daddy that I was forced to marry before I was even a teenager... |
