The punk police were hiding in their unit. Even with their guns on hand. Police are corrupt as hell in Brazil. They are just as bad as criminals. Military police should never interact with the civilian population.

What does this occurence has to do with corruption? He totally acted in self defense, he was about to be hit on the head by that wannabe tough guy (who - according to the media - had criminal record, by the way) Though there are corrupt cops, the majority of them are working people who try their best to protect the society and themselves. Every generalization is just stupid.
