Malik M.S., Pakistani Textile Mill Worker Killed by Machine Roller
In Multan, Pakistan, 29-year-old textile mill worker Malik M.S. was killed after becoming trapped in the roller of an operating machine, which rotated him repeatedly. Security footage shows that he was working almost alone at night, and the machine continued running for a period before anyone noticed. The video circulated in July 2026. |

Damn, it seems like forever until someone noticed. Looks like it's the wee hours of the morning and dude was pretty much alone. Wonder if it would have been different had this happened during the day.

The time elapsed between the other guy noticing and the machine still running is a clear sign of the amount of effort put into emergency procedural training. Maybe he missed the memo.

I wonder what exactly killed him. For sure he broke his legs. He might suffer suffocation by the yarn over his neck. Other than these, what else is life threatening  |

I think he died of asphyxiation not the rolling. He had some of that line wrapped around his neck that cut off his air supply. Sucks to be him.  |
