No one has "good reason" to do that. But you're over-simplifying things if you think everyone reacts to stuff in the same way. People get all emotional over this stuff and in the process forget they have a brain. A lot of people hate to admit it, but no one is born evil and even if being a psychopath is part genetic and/or biological no one is born a psychopath either. At one point Luka was a little bundle of innocence so what happened that lead him to do what he did? I know many people with their gung-ho "BURN HIM! BURN HIM!" mentality won't give a shit but if we followed that line of thinking we'd never evolve as a species, never understand why people do what they do, never find treatments or discover preventative measures and we'd probably still be killing ill people who are psychotic because they're obviously possessed by the devil. I'm not saying he has no personal responsibility, obviously he does, as we all do, and therefore should be held accountable, which he will be. And I would imagine he'll get life, probably with no chance of parole. In short, just because someone seeks to understand why Luka did what he did or even feels empathy with what he (allegedly) experienced throughout his life doesn't mean they are excusing what he did. |

The sad thing is, a LOT of people are trying to excuse, not just him, but other murderers actions as well. I honestly do want to understand just what went wrong. I've had terrible shit happen to me but I've always dealt with it in a more socially acceptable way. I try to imagine him as a baby or a child. Most likely he wasn't tormented with the thoughts he is today. But the question is, why is tormented with them today? I believe even if he found the answers to those questions and found a solution, he wouldn't care. I believe sometimes people are too far gone to save. When people get to this level of mental illness there's not much hope that they can function normally in society again. We as people just need to learn from criminals and try to understand what went wrong. We need try to find these elements in children and what causes them, and eliminate them. |

I forgot about that nutty cunt. I wonder if she was investigated or anything. I hope she was, I mean, no one investigated Magnotta's kitten videos and we all know how well situation that ended. I also wonder if the animal rights activists who made the HollywoodLoveLetters account got in hot shit. A few media reports that I read/saw said the police thought that account was his and would be investigating the body they found in LA. I would think that trying to lure an accused murder in would require some approval from police. |
