I've seen a few like this on the rails. I think the tremendous heat of the metal wheels on metal rail, coupled with piecing effect it'd have on the flat part of the wheel cauterizes it in a fashion. It's quite fascinating really. |

Maybe it's an accident AND a suicide. Maybe he meant to cut himself perfectly in half because he was OCD but at the last second he tripped and fell and as a result was cut asymmetrically. It could happen.  |
