Re: Look Close.
Every time I watch one of these videos I start debating in my head what I might do if I was in that situation - jump from that height and splatter, or sit tight and wait for the building to collapse.

Re: Look Close.
I would imagine that Bill is reluctant for a couple reasons...one, it would now be available to the thousands who do a jumpers google search...second, the photos probably trigger all sorts of things for him...

Re: Look Close.
There's something sacred about what happened to those jumpers...the falling man doc talks about it...those people weren't truly recognized for their ordeal...they were 9/11's ugly secret, too horrible to discuss...traumas that are buried tend to haunt whether we recognize them or not...

Re: Look Close.
Aye, fair enough. But there aren't any other photographs of the jumpers' bodies... And I was sort of doubting the veracity of his claims, somewhat, not because I think he's a liar or anything, it's just the net, you know. |

Re: Look Close.
I have been searching since the day it all happened. Within one week of 9-11-2001, I sent several emails to photographer Bolivar Arrellano requesting access to the photos of the man beneath that steel hand rail. I remember emailing him, and other photographers whose name had been mentioned as being eye witnesses of the falling bodies. It has taken years, and I look almost everyday to see if something new has been shared. Big ups to Bill for sharing. I really hope to see more photos.

Re: Look Close.
I still get chills when I look at, read about, hear about 9-11. A family friend escaped. He had to run down with so many other people in the stair wells. People were crying, screaming, being run over as others were running down the stairs. When he finally got out, he said it was literally raining body parts all over. I still can hear his voice and how he looked when he told us what he experienced a few days later. He looked and sounded shell shocked. This was so unnecessary.
