German teenager who killed a woman in Mediaș remains behind bars - He wanted an easier measure

A 17-year-old teenager from Germany, who was living in a foster home in Dumbrăveni, committed a terrible crime on Tuesday afternoon in Mediaș. The young man stabbed a woman behind the blocks of flats on Păltiniș Street in the city, and immediately after committing the crime he fled. After he was found, investigators took him to hearings, where he told them he did not know the woman, but killed her because he thought she was Roma. Dorin Cioaba, the king of the Roma everywhere, also spoke about these shocking statements, saying that, regardless of nationality, "criminals are still criminals".

The woman from Mediaș was 74 years old. She lived a quiet life and, as those close to her described her, she was a wonderful, kind-hearted woman. But on Tuesday afternoon, her life was over. She left the house only to take the garbage to the bins and never got back to the house. In a split second, an individual stabbed her in the neck. Medieșeanca was left in a pool of blood, and the attacker went invisible. Unfortunately, the doctors who arrived at the scene could not save her.

A few days ago, the minor asked, through a lawyer, to receive a lighter sentence, or to be placed under judicial control, or to be arrested at home. Luciano will be behind bars for another 30 days, until June 11, when new measures will be decided.
