Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning

I don't understand why you jump into water if you don't know how to swim especially if you're his age and old enough to know better. Maybe he once knew how but had forgotten or was out of shape or the water was cold? I was 15 years old before I learned to swim which is pretty old but at least I finally learned. One of the first and most basic things they teach you is how to "dog paddle". You won't travel far but you'll keep your head above water. And when you run out of energy you learn to turn over on your back, tilt your head back and move your arms and hand back and forth from side to side and kick your legs calmly to stay afloat and catch your breath. It takes almost no energy. You can do it for hours.
Shit bro, I still barely know how to swim. And yes I keep my stupid ass out of the water. I do know how to float. I would have survived. That had to be his 1st time hahaha. You see the way he was swinging his arms? No wonder why he wasn't going no where.

Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning

I already knew on his first dive and stroke, he doesnt know the basics of swimming, nor he doesnt know how to stay calm, and just afloat, he doesnt know what he is doing, unless he was having a stroke at that moment.

Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning

You actually enforced the stereotype that racists are just ignorant since you didn't even do any sort of research before posting that racist comment. There are black Olympic swimmer.

Cullen Jones is Olympic gold medalist and swam the 4 x 100 relay with Michael Phelps.
Relax! It was a generalized statement, I’m almost positive…
You have to admit, black swimmers are pretty rare. Just like white basketball players.
Different races each have their own strengths and weaknesses. Black people don’t have the same ratio of body fat to muscle as whites, therefore don’t float as well, hence usually aren’t good at swimming. It’s not ‘racist’ to note such differences.
Also, competitive swimming is something altogether different than recreational swimming, as we are seeing in this video.

Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning

do you have personal experience with this issue - if you did, then you would know that he is acting exactly as would be expected - by those who know what they are talking about
I actually do! I jumped in a VERY cold river and didn’t have an initial gulp for air, but I couldn’t breathe at all, I couldn’t get enough air in to float and swim properly, but luckily I got to the edge and was fine. But I also had other competent swimmers with me! I wouldn’t swim alone, ever!!! Just look at THIS guy…
But anyway, yes, I have experienced this. If I hadn’t been able to grab something, as our hero, I would have lost it and gone down too.

Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning

Cold water doesn't make you suddenly forget how to swim. Plus, where in the African continent is there cold enough water to shock someone stupid?

There IS however several places where poisonous volcanic gasses accumulate near water sources.
If you Google it, you will find numerous sources of cold water in Africa. The Nile being just one…

Lol, what do you consider, "cold" for water?

I'm a certified diver, so I'm not just blowing smoke here. Unless I'm in a dry suit, it sure as fuck ain't, "cold" yet...

Or just bob up and down, head in water, head up to breath, up and down easy, restful
