Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning
This is how it look like when someone who never had water training as a kid. My american ex girlfriend was not a good swimmer and freaked out when we went outside reef on Hawaii with a floating thing. I just laughed and said ”hold on to this thing and RELAX”. Lol my dad was a Navy Sesl btw so this type of behaviour sure aint a frogman.

Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning
Whites have more buoyancy than blacks. Whites have higher average IQs (100 for US whites vs. 85 for US blacks). Blacks have more melanin. There are differences between races. Buoyancy of African black and European white males P F M Ama 1, S Ambassa 1 Affiliations expand PMID: 28561485 DOI: 10.1002/(SICI)1520-6300(1997)9:1<87::AID-AJHB11>3.0.CO;2-V Abstract Twenty-six male swimmers (13 Blacks, 13 Whites) matched for age, weight, and stature were subjects in the comparison of anthropometric characteristics and horizontal and vertical buoyancies. Subjects were tested in a swimming pool in the horizontal position. The time necessary for the body to return to the vertical position defined horizontal buoyancy. Vertical buoyancy was the hydrostatic lift necessary to maintain the subject immersed to the nose. The results indicated similarities in arm span, trunk flexibility, and full inspiration and exhalation of Black and White subjects. However, there were differences in body fat distribution (P ≤ 0.05) and buoyancies (P ≤ 0.01), with Whites storing more fat and having better buoyancy than Blacks. Am. J. Hum. Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning
Well damn.... with a sample sizes that large, distributed by such a reputable publisher who I'm sure doesn't have an extensive "controversies" section on Wikipedia, who could possibly question the legitimacy of those results? Apparently not many, because it's only been cited in other medical journals 3 times in the 24 years it was published, so that's how we know it's woke. |

Re: Little Girl Films Dad Drowning
Unless you’ve got better data to refute it the finding stands. No intelligent intellectually honest person who’s actually paying attention could deny the numerous morphological differences between those of sub-Saharan African and those of Northern European ancestry… In fact based on our understanding of evolutionary biology there’s just no way that the half a million years of divergent evolution under significantly different environmental conditions over several percent of the human genome *wouldn’t* create certain differences (with the ones who tended to have some food access year round in the tropics tending to store less body fat being exactly the kind of difference you’d expect to find, and in-fact do find.) The fact that anybody who looks for such differences tends to be labeled as a racist, especially if they’re white, and is consequently ‘canceled’ and defunded, might go a long way toward explaining why there not more hard data on such questions. Would YOU honestly support an intellectually rigorous and open minded research effort to actually settle such a question one way or the other? I doubt you would, though I don’t doubt you’d wholeheartedly support efforts to disprove the existence of any such nontrivial racial difference. The truth is that ‘We’re all the same inside’ is a demonstrably untrue but nonetheless vigorously defended dogmatic religious tenet of the woke that’s born more of a wish that that’s how things were than as a reflection of reality as it actually is. Unfortunately, living one’s life and making choices that are disconnected from objective reality leads nowhere good. |
