Light Rail Accident in Baltimore Cuts Man in Half, Dragged 4 Blocks
Light Rail train fatally strikes man in downtown Baltimore BALTIMORE — A Light Rail train fatally struck a man Thursday morning in downtown Baltimore, city police said. Police said they received an emergency call around 8:30 a.m., and officers were called to North Howard and West Lexington streets. Police said the man died at the scene. Police said Howard Street was closed between Mulberry and Baltimore streets. Light Rail service between North Avenue and Camden Yards is temporarily suspended. Shuttle bus service is in place to serve travelers between the stations. Anyone who has video and pictures of the incident is asked to call police crash investigators at 410-396-2606. No further information was immediately released. |

Media having a hissy fit cops won't let them trample all over the crime scene and having them back up, so they can put down the tape. Rector's whining about the consent decree, and insisting that he's filming the blood and guts to keep popo in check. Arguing the policy put in place to monitor cops performance is the same one that lets him go up to victims and get up close footage... Ferron is bitching about being pushed back to tape off the crime scene and being a bitch-boy demanding badge info. I like gore vids as much as the next chick, but FFS, I can't stand self-righteous, self-serving asshats more than I like gore vid.  ·  · |

Several days ago, a man, apparently homeless, got snagged by Baltimore City's Light Rail train downtown near Howard Street, and he was fatally torn to shreads. A friend there sent me this video, which was originally posted on Facebook, but later taken down. Hopefully the video will find a permanent home here. It's gruesome, and it's my very first video contribution here. Do enjoy. |

Yeah, I don't think that anyone had even called 911 yet. Baltimore City is my home town. Me- I know that exact spot. Poor guy looked like he had had a hard life to begin with, and then... that happened. Sheesh! |
