I guess that is the definition of terrorism, a forceful act for political reasons, political meaning 'gtfo out of our country'. In fact, they both share the same broad meaning. Were the WW2 resistance groups terrorists or freedom fighters? Terrorists by the Nazis, but freedom fighters by the native populace of whatever country such actions took place. The revolutionary war is another example - the rebels were terrorists to the British, but the Americans labeled themselves as freedom fighters. Do you see what I'm getting at? |
