Re: Lest We Forget Nick Berg
Oh, the two interesting bits of trivia about Nick Berg that most people don't seem to know: - He was interviewed for Farenheit 9/11 but his interview wasn't included in the film out of respect. - Nick had his email address used by 9/11 hijacker-to-be Zacarias Moussaoui sometime before 9/11. Supposedly, he let some guy on a bus use his laptop to send an email (using Nick's email address), and the guy was a friend of Moussaoui and allowed him to use it at a later date. |

Re: Lest We Forget Nick Berg
FWIW, I'm pretty sure the reason the Nick Berg video is always questioned, is because it was the first one we saw out of Iraq (and for a lot of people, the first one they ever saw). Like most conspiracy theories about 9/11, etc., they're rooted in people just not wanting to believe that reality is what it is. Of course, as beheading videos came streaming out after this one, people stopped trying to come up with ridiculous conspiracy theories for all of them, but the initial lets-pretend-reality-isnt-a-thing conspiracy theories regarding the Berg video persist. |
