We sure he's a thief? Judging by the debris, broken glass, bent license plate, something tipped over at the beginning of the vid (some kind of bicycle cart?), it looks more like he was involved in some kind of accident rather than being stoned. My guess is he was hit from behind and slid face first into the concrete where we see some brain. His left arm looks like it got some road rash from the slide.
