It turns out that vehicles really do own the road. They should make a deal: they won’t stand in the street and drink and the cars won’t drive through the bar. Seems fair.

In Villarpando, Azua province, Dominican Republic, a truck loaded with avocados rammed into a group of young people who were leaving a bar, killing at least eleven and injuring at least thirty. The truck driver fled the scene.
Makes sense - they're toast and were covered in avocado.
