Lawyer's Brains on the Ground After He Was Shot Dead
The lawyer J.A.F. was murdered near the city of Gonçalves Dias, Maranhão state. He was killed on a farm in the outskirts of the city after he was surprised by his assassins. J. had spent time in prison on charges of involvement in a bank robbery, where he was formerly an employee. However, the motive has not been fully confirmed. |

I read it as: he used to work in the bank, then he used his inside knowledge to try and rob it, got caught, then after he got freed, he became a lawyer.

He was already a lawyer when they robbed the bank on January 26th, 2018.
